Canal+ Le Grand Journal

Motionfanclub director Vincent Kherroubi and the UFO teamed up to direct the graphics for the French television program « Le Grand Journal » seen on Canal+.

Also participating was graphic design artist BUS, who designed the typography seen in the film. The project which took just under a month to complete, was created using Maya, Real Flow and Mudbox, composited using After FX and finished, only 4 days after the shoot, using Flame. The TV hosts where shot on green screen in Paris, using a Photron camera.

Borel Sigma Design worked on designing and developing the complex animated page system. Each turn of the page acts like a loop which can be edited to offer multiple possibilities for a range of different idents.
